Fees, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Teenage Toolbox appreciates that you chose our service for your session.
It is Teenage Toolbox's absolute intention to provide top quality and personal care. In order to do that, the hour that you scheduled is set aside for only you.
Below are some guidelines and policies to provide you with an optimum session.
New clients, please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
All returning clients are requested to arrive a few minutes prior to their appointment to ensure they arrive on time.
All fees are agreed before the first session commences and must be paid in full.
We understand that sometimes issues occur. It helps Teenage Toolbox a great deal if you call or message to let us know you’re running late. We will do our best to accommodate you. However please note if you arrive late your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours.
Teenage Toolbox asks that you respectfully give 24 hours notice of cancellation by phoning us on 021390697 or emailing .
If less than 24 hours notice is given, to cancel or reschedule your session, you will be invoiced a 50% fee for the appointment unless another booking can be taken in which case there will be no charge.
If no notice is given for your session cancellation you will be invoiced the cancellation fee of the full cost of your session.
Please be aware that when booking a session on the same day, it is considered set, and if changed, cancelled or rescheduled at any point after it is made, the client is responsible for paying the full price of the appointment.
Teenage Toolbox is a service that offers positive tools and strategies to a teenager, parent or family to instigate change.
Sessions are based on lived-experience in schools, prisons, relationship breakdown and adolescence.
The sessions do not intend to provide mental health treatment, nor do they constitute a counselling or therapist relationship.
Teenage Toolbox does not provide a medical diagnosis. The information provided is not a replacement for the therapeutic relationship in psychotherapy or a coaching relationship, nor is it intended to replace medical advice.
Teenage Toolbox is not a Medical Provider (Physician, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Nurse Practitioner, etc.).
You agree and acknowledge that Teenage Toolbox is not providing health care, medical or therapy services, or attempting to diagnose, prevent or cure any physical, mental or emotional issue, disease or condition.
You agree the information provided in sessions pertaining to health or wellness, exercise, relationships, business/career choices, finances, or any other aspect of your teenager’s/family's life is not intended to be a substitute for the professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment provided by your own Medical Provider or Mental Health Provider.
You agree and acknowledge that Teenage Toolbox is not providing medical advice, or mental health advice, in any way.
You agree that you will always seek the advice of your own Medical Provider and/or Mental Health Provider regarding any questions or concerns you have about your teenager’s/family's specific health needs or any medications they are currently taking.
You agree you will not disregard medical advice, or delay seeking medical advice because your teenager/family is having sessions with Teenage Toolbox.
You agree that your teenager/family will not start or stop taking any medications without speaking to your own Medical Provider or Mental Health Provider.
